His lightning-fast movements and combat expertise make him much harder to deal with than the average Locust, something Marcus and the crew quickly realize on the few occasions they come face to face with him. This all culminates in one of the most epic boss fights in the entire series where players must use their Lancer chainsaws to try and break down Skorge’s defenses before cutting him to pieces once and for all.

At first, Richard seems to act fairly towards the Saints and even speaks about peace offerings, but it’s clear this shady politician is planning something much more sinister behind the scenes.

Thirty years before the events of Lost Odyssey even begin, Gongora would seal off the memories of the other immortals, all so that they wouldn’t become an enemy of his in the future.

He even goes as far as to manipulate others to see him as a hero so that he can create his own army of loyal pawns, such as how he convinces Roxian to attack the prince of Uhra, all for his selfish gain. He’s a truly despicable antagonist who almost feels unstoppable once he begins gaining power and influence throughout the story, which is why it feels all so good to finally beat him at the very end.

What’s fascinating about Schuenzeit is that, even though he’s more than capable of acting like the most horrific person on earth, he’s often shown to be very calm and casual in the way he acts, which only helps to make him seem even more sinister.

Because Loki is a former Aesir who has also been enhanced through the use of Giant Technology, it means he’s a true force to be reckoned with on the battlefield, making him a formidable foe both in and outside of combat. As players try to protect humanity from being wiped out by Loki and his army of followers, he will constantly mock the player and try to downplay their efforts, which perfectly suits his snarky attitude and the condescending persona that he puts up for most of the game.
