A24 Is Under Fire Because of AI-Generated Posters for Civil War

The movie company A24 is known for distributing the 2022 hit Everything Everywhere All at Once, and now it has a chance to spread its fame some more, just not in the way it would appreciate. The studio found itself in viewers’ disfavor after publishing a bunch of seemingly AI-generated posters for its latest movie Civil War.

Social media users quickly pointed out some mistakes in the pictures and the uncanny valley effect they cause. For example, you can see a car with three doors in one of the images and the most AI-made swan you’ve ever seen in another (and if it’s somehow created by a person… I hope not even if it’s a paddleboat.)
