Cassette Beasts: How to Heal
As players do battle in Cassette Beasts, their monsters are sure to take some amount of damage. Fortunately, there are a variety of ways to heal that damage, and some fans may be curious about the options that are available to them. This guide is here to provide details on those options and teach players how to heal their monsters in Cassette Beasts.
Cassette Beasts: Healing Explained
Campfires and Cafe
Campfires and the Gramophone Cafe are the best options for healing more than one monster outside of combat. Indeed, players that interact with a campfire or the table within the cafe will be given the option to rest, and selecting it will fully heal all monsters and repair any broken cassettes. Notably, resting is also the way by which players will initiate remasters in Cassette Beasts, making it a very important mechanic.
Rewind and Respool
Players that need to do some healing in battle are advised to turn to the Rewind and Respool items. For the uninitiated, the first of those items fully restores the HP of a selected tape, and the second fixes a broken tape. Fans of monster collecting video games can access their Rewinds and Respools in combat by selecting Item and then navigating to the Consumables tab, and they can both be purchased from Clemence in the Gramophone Cafe.
Moves
There are several moves that can be used to heal monsters during a fight. Bite is perhaps the most common of those moves, and players are advised to attach that sticker to monsters like Bansheep, Candevil, Carniviper, and Squirey in the early-game. Leech and Life Absorb can also be used for healing, though their stickers do not seem to be granted as frequently as Bite.
Additionally, uncommon and rare stickers will occasionally have bonus effects that provide healing. As such, players may find that they have a wide of range of moves that can used to restore health by the time that they reach the end-game. While it is difficult to take a targeted approach to securing those moves, bootlegs in Cassette Beasts are more likely to earn uncommon and rare stickers, and players that keep those special monsters in their parties will thus have a higher chance of receiving stickers with healing effects.
Status Effects
Finally, there are several status effects that provide healing, incentivizing fans to pay attention to elemental types in Cassette Beasts. Leeched is one of those status effects, and it can be activated by hitting an earth or water monster with a plant move. Healing Leaf and Healing Stream also provide healing, and they are activated when a water move hits a plant monster and when a fire move hits a water monster.
