Cult PS3 Shooter Mamorukun Curse Targets PS5 Re-Release

Fondly remembered arcade shooter Mamorukun Curse! will be relieved of its PS3 purgatory in 2025, as City Connection is plotting a PS5 re-release of the cult classic. The game – which first released in arcades and on Xbox 360 before getting an enhanced PlayStation edition over ten years ago – will feature new music from famed composer Yousuke Yasui, as well as all previous DLC included.

One characteristic that’s somewhat unique to the title is that scrolling movement isn’t forced, so you’re free to potter about the levels as you please.
