Four Tantas rule Athia in Forspoken, as they are the most powerful and loved sorcerers in the realms. Each one of the Tantas embodies a different virtue, which helps them rule over and protect their lands. Cinta is the Tanta of love and ruler of Junoon, Olas is the Tanta of wisdom and ruler of Visoria, Prav is the Tanta of justice and ruler of Avoalet, and Sila is the Tanta of strength and ruler of Praenost.

Sila is the first Tanta Frey will come across in Forspoken, after the masquerade of killing that was done by ‘Sila’s puppet’ in Cipal city. The death of Olevia drives Frey to set off on an adventure to Praenost to avenge the little girl by slaughtering Sila once and for all.

How To Beat Tanta Sila In Forspoken

To beat Tanta Sila in Forspoken, players must go through her three transformations Stages during the battle.

First Stage

sila first phase in forspoken

In the first stage, Sila is in her usual human form, which makes it easier for players to bypass it. In this stage, the Tanta will only be using ranged attacks like fireballs and a melee attack. To avoid ranged attacks, players should hide behind pillars, while for the melee hits, players can use Frey’s parkour ability to dodge.

Second Stage

The second stage begins after Frey breaks Tanta Sila’s armor mask, which enrages the latter and makes her go feral. Sila summons her Champions of Praenost and shields herself behind them. This allows her to manifest more mana into her previous attacks and makes her a tougher battle opponent in Forspoken.

To bypass the Errant Soldier, players can use the Prime spell of Frey’s magic. The spell will send the soldiers unarmored to the floor. Attacking knocked-off opponents makes it easier for players to finish them off. After losing her shield, Sila is more vulnerable to Frey’s attacks and can be dealt with easily if players came prepared with the right equipment in Forspoken.

It’s also possible to attack Sila immediately without minding her soldiers, but it will hinder players greatly as the latter are rather annoying and come in a large group. Therefore, it’s better to get rid of them before focusing on Sila.

Third Stage

Dropping Sila’s HP more and more pushes her to the edge and makes her fuel her powers in anger. After doing so, the Tanta’s health bar is refilled, and she can now blast off huge fireballs, summon a flood of flames, and use flame marks. It is important to dodge her attacks using parkour and focus on dealing damage to drop her HP to half.

One of the deadliest attacks is when the whole ground starts to be smothered in flames and can deal massive damage to Frey’s health. To avoid it, try using parkour to climb the broken pillars lying around until the ground go back to its original state.

Dropping Tanta Sila’s HP to its half will break her composure and sends her to her knees. Making her vulnerable to a Killer Blow, which is represented by a hand and a dagger icon. This attack is the most effective way to brutally damage Sila and exploit Cuff’s capabilities to deal devastating damage in Forspoken. Not only will it cause enormous damage, but it may also restore Frey’s HP.

Upon defeating Tanta Sila, Frey will absorb her powers and learn the Zip spell to make getting around Athia a lot easier. As a result, a new tree is now added to Frey’s Magic section in Forspoken.

Forspoken is now available on PS5 and PC.
