Free Blender Add-on That Hides Vertices And Locks Editing

This simple and handy add-on is a must-have when working with Blender’s Proportional Editing.

Essentially, it prevents Proportional Editing from being affected, hiding vertices and protecting them from editing, while only faces remain visible. To turn on visibility, simply do a regular Alt+H Show Hidden combination.

Hidden vertices are removed when you enter Weight Paint Mode, Vertex Paint Mode, or Sculpt Mode. In the UV Editor, hidden vertices are synchronized in UV Sync Selection mode, as the add-on can’t remove hidden vertices from the UV Editor.
