Genshin Impact Fans Create Impressive Anime Trailer About Diluc
Genshin Impact fans have posted an interesting trailer for a video that will go deeper into the story of one of the fan-favorite characters, Monstadt’s Pyro user Diluc. The game is known for having a very large community that often tries to replicate Teyvat’s story and its characters in their own unique way
Since his introduction back in Genshin Impact 1.0, Diluc has always been one of the most popular characters in the game. However, once the official storyline moved away from the Mondstadt region, he didn’t make too many appearances in the game’s main quest line.
A Reddit user Pancakeser has shared an impressive teaser video for an upcoming fan-made anime short that will apparently feature Diluc as the main protagonist. The video was well received in the community as the post reached over 700 upvotes with many fans claiming that they can’t wait for the full version. The anime will feature several familiar Mondstadt characters such as his brother Kaeye, the Acting Grandmaster Jean, and many others. Even one of the main characters, Aether, will be featured in the story which means that the majority of the video could be placed in the current timeline. The teaser starts by showing a younger version of Diluc standing alongside his father, Crepus Ragnvindr, whose death was caused by the infamous Fatui Organization.

Many fans claim that they hope that HoYoverse’s confirmed anime series will go deeper into the story of popular Mondstadt citizens such as Diluc. Some players speculate that the rumored expansion of the Anemo region could introduce legendary characters such as the Grandmaster of the Knights of Favonious known as Varka. Despite being mentioned numerous times in the official storyline, Varka is yet to make an in-game appearance.
Another character that could play a part in the upcoming Mondstadt arc could be Alice, the famous traveler who has seen the whole world of Teyvat. She is the creator of the Teyvat Travel Guide which is a core item used by every player in the game. This character is also known as Klee’s mother which is why many players suspect that Alice could have a Pyro Vision.
Even though Diluc was once considered one of the most powerful characters in the game, he has been pushed out of the meta since then as HoYoverse introduced more complex characters to the roster. At the moment, Diluc is mostly used as the primary DPS, but he can also successfully fill the sub-DPS role if players build around his Elemental Burst.
