Gorgeous 3D Environment Inspired by a 19th-Century Painting
Bikki Rajbhar, an experienced Game Artist specializing in digital environments and props, has recently presented a marvelous 3D scene that invites the viewer to step inside a 19th-century painting. Check out Broken Colors, a digital environment with a breathtaking stylized appearance that proves that Unreal Engine 5 abilities aren’t limited to photorealism.
As noted by the author, the project was inspired by the works of Ferdinand Knab, a 19th-century German painter, particularly his 1888 masterpiece, Monk in a Cloister Backyard. Besides the aforementioned UE5, Bikki utilized a combination of custom assets made with ZBrush and Substance 3D Designer, as well as store-bought assets, to bring this scene to life.
