How to emote in Content Warning

Being a content creator in Content Warning is a lot of hard work. You have to venture around the creepy Old World and survive encounters with terrifying entities. But more importantly than all of that you need to catch some emotes on camera. Here is how to emote in Content Warning so you can increase your viewers.

How do you emote?

To emote in Content Warning you need to have first purchased an emote from the Shop Kiosk and then press the ‘T’ key by default to perform the emote. If you hold down the key you will continue performing the emote as opposed to quickly doing it and stopping.

If you don’t like emoting being bound to the ‘T’ key, you can course change it in the settings by going to the Controls tab.

Unfortunately, it appears that each player can only have one emote at a time. Once you purchase an emote from the Shop Kiosk and it arrives via the drone, reading the book to learn the emote will replace any existing emote you already have.

What is the point of emoting?

Using an emote in Content Warning isn’t just a cool action you can take. In fact, emotes are a huge part of Content Warning. Since you are playing as the role of content creators, any sort of interaction you can do to increase your views is very important. Emoting is one such action. If you capture a friend performing an emote while recording in the Old World, you will get a nice chunk of extra viewers when you upload it to Spooktube.

Also, you can capture each emote once per recording. You want to make sure that each player in your group is emoting and getting it caught on camera each time you film a new video.

What is the best emote in Content Warning?

The best emote in Content Warning at the moment is Ancient Gestures 1. This emote currently costs $500 at the Shop Kiosk. Despite its name, the emote is actually the player putting up his middle finger.

The higher the cost of the emote, the more views you get for catching it on camera. Because the Ancient Gestures 1 emote costs $500, more than any other emote, that makes it the best emote in Content Warning.
