How to make friends in BitLife

Whenever life gets you down, it’s always good to have a companion by your side, especially with the virtual woes of a BitLifer’s journey. So, if you want to know how to make a friend in BitLife, here’s what you need to do.

Making friends in BitLife, explained

Just like real life, school and work are the best places to make friends in BitLife. You’ll generally receive notifications randomly of others asking to be your companion, but there is a way to initiate this yourself directly.

BitLife School friendships

During your educational journey, go to the School tab near the age-up button, then select the first option (typically the current residing establishment). From here, Choose the ‘Class’ tab and pick a person to start the companionship. A ‘Befriend’ selection will be available, yet the interaction can be unsuccessful if the relationship isn’t in good standing.

To avoid friendship denial in BitLife, I recommend complimenting and gifting first to boost their relationship. Use these interactions with red or orange-colored classmate relationship levels until they appear green.

BitLife Job friendships

The job friendships work the same as the previous technique, where you’ll instead select the Job tab (replaces School.) From here, choose your occupation and press ‘Co-Workers’ for ‘Befriend.’

Complimenting and gifting still work to help improve relationship levels. However, progressing further in your career is also an excellent idea. In particular, co-workers at the top of the food chain won’t even acknowledge you unless you have a better standing position. Thus, it’s best to focus on the career aspect before establishing companionships.

In addition to school and work, social hubs like clubs, gyms, and libraries can be another way to make friends in BitLife. Unfortunately, it’s not as guaranteed as the ones mentioned earlier. To boost your chances, look into a more famous lifestyle, such as an actor or president, or simply become popular at work/school.
