How to Recreate the Most Iconic Location From The Walking Dead
Polygonflow, a development team behind such tools as GraphN and Dash, has shared a new insightful tutorial explaining how to make an appealing 3D recreation of the most iconic location from The Walking Dead franchise – Harrison Memorial Hospital, a place where Rick Grimes awakens from his coma in the first issue/episode of the series.
In their new guide, the team demonstrated how Dash, Polygonflow’s procedural world-building plug-in, can be used to set up the “Don’t dead, open inside” corridor in Unreal Engine 5, thoroughly explaining how to utilize the plug-in’s Grid Scatter tool for creating a broken ceiling, Decal Scatter for placing large amounts of blood, the Physics Tool for realistic object placement like debris and pill bottles, the Cable Tool for creating cables in the ceiling and on the floor, and more. You can watch the full tutorial attached above or by visiting the team’s official YouTube channel.
