How to use Fire Crystals in Whiteout Survival

In Whiteout Survival, you have many different resource types you must properly manage to build up your Furnace and settlement to properly survive the cold. As you progress, you’ll start receiving a minute amount of Fire Crystals, with absolutely no indication of how to use Fire Crystals in Whiteout Survival. These are all the ways to use and gain Fire Crystals.

How to use Fire Crystals in Whiteout Survival

To use Fire Crystals in Whiteout Survival, you need to first reach Furnace Level 30 and the server you are on must have had a Symphony of Change and entered the first Fire Crystal Age. This happens once your server is 60 days old.

Once you meet both requirements, you use Fire Crystals to upgrade your buildings further into the Fire Crystal ages. As you progress into the Fire Crystal Ages, you will need more Fire Crystals to upgrade your buildings even further. Here’s the total amount of Fire Crystals you need to use to upgrade all your buildings in each Fire Crystal Age:

• Fire Crystal Age 1 – 1,970 Fire Crystals
• Fire Crystal Age 2 – 2,360 Fire Crystals
• Fire Crystal Age 3 – 3,560 Fire Crystals
• Fire Crystal Age 4 – 4,200 Fire Crystals
• Fire Crystal Age 5 – 5,010 Fire Crystals

These Fire Crystal amounts include upgrading all five instances of each of your buildings, which you will need to do to progress.

Best ways to get Fire Crystals

You can actually start getting Fire Crystals before you reach Furnace Level 30 and can even use them. It’s worth doing because as you can see above, a ton of Fire Crystals are required to upgrade your buildings fully. Here are all the ways you can obtain Fire Crystals in Whiteout Survival:

• Defeat Beasts via Intel Missions
• Flame and Fangs event
• Get to the final 2 Stages in Daily Missions
• Intel Monthly Card
• Various Packs and State of Power
• Crystal Laboratory

How to unlock the Crystal Laboratory

One of the best ways to get Fire Crystals without spending money is to utilize the Crystal Laboratory. You unlock this building once your server has entered the first Fire Crystal Age and you have reached Furnace Level 30. This will allow you to build the Crystal Laboratory building. With this building you can earn 5 Fire Crystals per day by refining the following resources into a single Fire Crystal:

• 5,000 Meat
• 5,000 Iron
• 5,000 Coal
• 5,000 Wood

To maximize your Crystal Laboratory efficiency each day, you will need to accrue 25,000 Meat, Iron, Coal, and Wood. This will in turn provide you with 5 Fire Crystals per day.
