LoL Patch 13.10 – Mid-season changes: items, system, and more
The LoL Patch 13.10 is going to be the biggest update we’ve seen this season so far. Let’s see how Riot plans to shake up the meta.

LoL Patch 13.10 Notes
Riot recently announced that the upcoming Patch 13.10 would be the biggest update of the season so far. In a recent dev blog post, the Rioter explained their goal of making Mythic items powerful and have capstone effects that define builds. They will change their philosophy on how those are built.
With that in mind, the biggest changes will be for ADC itemization. Kraken Slayer and Shieldbow will be redesigned to fit into the Legendary items, with Infinity Edge, Quickblades, Rageblade, and Galeforce as the Mythic items.
In particular, Rageblade will have some notable changes that will make it look more like the older version. Additionally, Statikk Shiv will be making a return with a different stat profile.
Aside from ADC items, though, Riot is also tweaking the enchanter and Lethality items. For the latter, they will look into Prowler’s Claw and Duskblade of Draktharr, with the first reworked into a Legendary item. To make up for the loss of the Mythic item, Youmuu’s Ghostblade will be promoted to Mythic status. Duskblade, instead, will be reworked.
Enchanter will have a new version of the Unholy Grail item (which we will see later). Other items will also be reworked, hoping to create better build paths and higher satisfaction outputs.
There are also some important system changes, tweaking how minions work, as well as other effects, like Unleashed Teleport and Homeguards effect.
There will also be some Snow Moon skins added, with Ahri, Morgana, and Varus each getting their own version.

How will the upcoming patch impact the meta?
There is a big amount of changes so we’ll take some considerations based on how the tweaks are made in a few days’ time. For now, Rageblade seems quite a strong item.

- P damage now scales with 60% AP
- Q move speed now scales with 5% per 100 AP
Kalista
- E damage now scales with 40% AP for first hit and 20% AP for subsequent spears
- E slow now scales with 5% per 100 AP
Kindred
- W damage now scales with 20% AP
- E slow now scales with 5% per 100 AP
Vayne
- W true damage now scales with 1.5% per 100 AP
Item Changes
Moonstone Renewer – Tweaked
- 35 AP
- 200 HP
- 20 Ability Haste
- +100% Base Mana Reg.
- [Effect – Starlit Grace]: Healing or shielding an ally chains to the nearest ally champion (excluding yourself), healing (20 – 35 (based on ally’s level)) or shielding (30 – 50% (based on ally’s level)) of the original amount.
- [Mythic Passive]: Grants all other Legendary items 5 Ability Haste.
Imperial Mandate – Demoted to Legendary
- 55 AP
- 20 Ability Haste
- +100% Base Mana Reg.
- [Effect – Coordinated Fire]: Abilities that Slow or Immobilize a champion deal 35 – 75 (based on level) bonus magic damage and marks them for 4 seconds (6 seconds cooldown per enemy champion mark application). Ally champion damage detonates the mark, dealing an additional 70 – 150 (based on ally champion level) magic damage and granting you both 20% movement speed for 2 seconds.

- [Effect – Soul Siphon]: Damaging a champion grants a Soul Shard, up to a maximum of 2. Healing or shielding an ally consumes all Soul Shards and restores 40 – 120 (based on ally level) HP and deals 40 – 210 (based on ally level) magic damage per Shard to the nearest enemy champion.
- [Dissonance]: Gain 3 AP per 25% Base Mana Reg.
- [Mythic Passive]: Grants all other Legendary items 5 Ability Haste.
Chalice of Blessing – support item component
- 200 HP
- +75% Base Mana Reg.
- [Effect – Harmony]: Gain 25% Base Health Regeneration for every additional 25% Base Mana regen.
More support item changes
- Zeke’s Convergence is cheaper has higher HP, lower armor, and no mana
- Knight’s Vow is cheaper has lower HP and regen but now has 25 armor
Youmuu’s Ghostblade – Mythic
- 60 AD
- 18 Lethality
- 20 Ability haste
- [Active – Wraith Step]: Gain 25% MS and Ghosting for 6 seconds (45s cooldown). During this time, you generate stacks 2 times faster.
- [Effect – Haunt]: Gain up to 100 Spectral Shards while moving. Gain up to 50 MS out of champion combat based on the number of Spectral Shards. While at max shards, gain 10 – 20 Lethality. Shards will reset 4 seconds after dealing damage to an enemy champion.
- [Mythic Passive]: Grants all other Legendary items 8 AD.
Duskblade of Draktharr – Reworked
- 60 AD
- 18 Lethality
- 20 Ability haste
- [Effect – Nightstalker]: Your abilities deal up to additional 15% damage based on the target’s missing health. When a champion you have damaged within the last 3 seconds dies, you become Untargetable from non-structures for 1.5 (10 seconds cooldown).
- [Mythic Passive]: Grants all other Legendary items 5 Ability Haste and 5 MS.
The Collector – Tweaked

Duskblade of Draktharr – Reworked to Legendary item
- 55 AD

- [Effect – Sandstrike]: After dashing, blinking, or exiting Stealth, your next attack on a champion deals an additional (85+35% bAD for melee | 65+25% bAD for ranged) physical damage (5 seconds cooldown). If dealt by a Melee champion, the attack also slows the target by 99% for 0.5 seconds.
Recurve Bow – Tweaked
- 15% Attack speed
- [Effect – Steeltipped]: Attacks apply 15 magic damage on-hit.
Guinsoo’s Rageblade – Mythic item
- 30 AD

- 25% Attack speed
- [Effect – Wrath]: Attacks apply 30 magic damage on-hit. Critical Strike Chance is converted into up to 200 more.
- [Effect – Seething Strike]: Basic attacks grant 8% attack speed, stacking up to 4 times for a maximum of 32% attack speed. While fully stacked, every third attack applies your on-hit effects twice.
- [Mythic Passive]: Grants all other Legendary items 5% Armor Pen. and 6% Magic Pen.
Infinity Edge – Mythic item

Sterak’s Gage – Tweaked
- 400 HP
- [Effect – The Claws that Catch]: Gain 50% base AD as bonus AD.
- [Effect – Lifeline]: Upon taking damage that would reduce your Health below 30%, gain a 80% bonus Shield, decaying over 4.5 seconds (60 seconds), and gain 25% size and 30% Tenacity for 8 seconds.
Trinity Force – Tweaked
- 40 AD
- 35% Attack Speed
- 300 HP
- 20 Ability Haste
- [Effect – Threefold Strike]: Attacks grant 20 MS for 5 seconds. If the target is a champion or structure, gain 4% base AD for 5 seconds, stacking up to 5 times (max 20%).
- [Effect – Spellblade]: After using an ability, your next attack is enhanced with an additional 200% base AD physical damage (1.5 seconds cooldown).
- [Mythic Passive]: Grants all other Legendary items 3 AD, 3 Ability Haste, and 3 MS.
Divine Sunderer – Tweaked

- Empowered attack: 125% base AD + (6% for melee| 3% for ranged) as bonus physical damage on-hit ⇒ 160% base AD + (4% for melee| 2% for ranged)

Minions
- Except for the first spawn of minions, mid lane minions will meet at the same time as side lanes (side lane sped up)
- Minions that have targeted an enemy tower will ignore “call for help” signals to target enemy champions.
- Minion speed changes fall off at 14 minutes when plates fall.
Turrets
- Plate Rushdown Resistances (20 seconds after taking a plate): 0 – 180 (based on number of champions) ⇒ 45 – 225 (based on number of champions)
Jungle Plants
- Blast Cone (over the river walls) initial respawn: 5:00 – 5:30 ⇒ 9:00 – 9:30
Fountain
- Mana regen: 2.1% max mana ⇒ 3.1%
