Lost Tech City 2022

Lost Tech City 2022 is going to be a Panda Cup Major. However, there be more competitions on show here outside of just the two biggest Smash events. This Texas event is going to be host to a good number of competitive tournaments across the top fighting games.

Smash Ultimate

The Smash Ultimate Tournament at Lost Tech City is going to be one of the biggest events at the tournament. This is a competition there’s going to have a prize pool of over $13,000 on offer. One of the most impressive for the year with Smash Ultimate.

This is one of the biggest events on the calendar this Autumn. It’s a gold tier event for the Smash World Tour, along with being a qualifying event for Panda Cup.  With such a big prize pool and two different circuits represented, this is going to be one to watch.

Some of the top players are attending Lost Tech City for Smash. There’s Cosmos fresh off a win at Shine 2022, Maister, MuteAce, Marss, yonni, and more.

Melee

The Ultimate tournament isn’t the only one at Lost Tech City. Smash Melee is going to be around too. The Melee event is going to be part of both the Smash World Tour and Panda Global Cup. There’s a prize pool here of $8,080 for Singles, and a more minor one for doubles. The top players will be showing up at this tournament too. Hungrybox, aMSa, Plup, Mango, Wizzrobe and more will be part of the Melee event.

Smash 64

Smash 64 doesn’t have the biggest esports scene compared to the others here. However, there is always some fun competition for players at these tournaments. The Smash 64 event for Lost Tech City 2022 is going to be a 1v1 with a smaller prize pool.

MultiVersus at Lost Tech City 2022

MultiVersus is a newer game to arrive in fighting tournaments, but it’s already made a huge impact. The title has plenty of similarities with Smash Bros, so it’s a natural inclusion at Lost Tech City. MultiVersus has had some new additions lately. This will be a fun tournament to see those new characters tested out. The event is going to be played in 2v2.

Guilty Gear Strive

Guilty Gear Strive is having a tournament at this competition. This is going to be played on PS4. There’s a decent prize pool, with a $1,000 bonus pot in the competition.

Other tournaments At Lost Tech City 2022

Those are some of the biggest events that are going to be at Lost Tech City. However, there are some other side events too. These are some of the top competitions that will be included alongside the Smash Bros events:

  • King of Fighters XV
  • Dragon Ball FighterZ
  • Tekken 7
  • Street Fighter V Champion Edition
  • Smash Side Competitions

That’s about everything that’s happening at Lost Tech City 2022. The Smash events definitely look like the main competitions here.
