MGS3 Remake Main Menu Shown, and David Hayter’s Played the Full Game

Konami seems to be very slowly pulling back the curtain on its PS5 remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, as after Solid Snake voice actor David Hayter teased the title for his YouTube legacy series, the game’s main menu has been put online. Not so noteworthy in itself, but now Hayter has come out to say he’s played the full game, and also added “it was spectacular”.

Hayter said he was able to play the opening of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, up until the famous bridge cutscene where The Boss defects. In the tweet below, you can see the remake’s main menu screen, which zooms in on the jungle.

Besides its original announcement trailer and some follow-up in-engine footage, very little has been revealed about the remake that Konami is cooking up alongside Virtuos.
