Monster Hunter Stories 2 Also Coming to PS4 on the Same Day as the First Game

Well, we didn’t see this coming. Previously, Capcom announced that 3DS RPG Monster Hunter Stories was getting a PS4 port this summer — and now the publisher has revealed that it’ll actually release alongside the sequel, Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin (which is currently available on Nintendo Switch and PC). Both games launch on the 14th June, so you’d best keep your schedule open.

In case you’re not familiar, the Stories titles are turn-based adventures in which you battle alongside beasts as a monster tamer (rather than a hunter). The gameplay loop involves rearing your own creatures, and training them so that you can progress through a story-driven campaign.
