New Star Wars Outlaws Trailer Confirms August PS5 Release Date

Update: Ubisoft has now confirmed Star Wars Outlaws will launch for PS5 on 30th August 2024 as part of a new story trailer you can watch above.

Original story: Ubisoft is planning on dropping a fresh story trailer for Star Wars Outlaws in a few hours, but the cat’s already out of the bag by way of a Japanese premiere page that’s published the release date: the PS5 game launches on the 30th August 2024. Currently a very quiet time of the year — very little of the release calendar has been claimed beyond May — so it’s one of the first major games to look forward to for the second half of 2024.

The description posted to YouTube also mentions the chance to play the game three days early if you pay for the cash for either the Gold or Ultimate Edition of the game, meaning you could start playing from 27th August 2024. This also means Star Wars Outlaws will have a season pass promising DLC after release, like most Ubisoft experiences.
