No Rest For The Wicked: How to Repair the Rookery
Here’s how you can fix the rookery and open up a passage to the market in No Rest For The Wicked.
The Rookery is a central location in the town of Sacrament in No Rest For The Wicked. It holds a room for the player where they can deposit their items in a community chest. However, reaching the Rookery can take a while from the Cerim Whisper in the town where players fast-travel.
When going down to their quarters, players will encounter an NPC that will mention that repairing the staircase in the Rookery would open up a passage to the local market, making coming and going much more convenient.

Items on the ground have a blue glow to them, and several of these items will be keys to doors with some worthwhile loot behind them.
How to Repair the Rookery
The first step in repairing the Rookery is finding an NPC named Danos, a merchant who works in the city. He is responsible for overseeing all construction projects, and players can talk to him about repairing the Rookery as well. He also sells furniture and crafting equipment that players can purchase.
- To reach him, teleport to the Cerim Whisper located in Sacrament and move upwards.
- Go up the staircase directly in front of the Whisper and walk into the town square. From there, keep walking forward until you reach the end of the town square, and you will see Danos standing next to the stairs going further up.
- Talk to him to initiate the process. After a bit of explanation, you will get the option to buy different building projects that will help bring the town back to tip-top shape.
- The first upgrade, called Lodging Staircase, will let you repair the Rookery.
- The time of completion for the project is 15 minutes, and it only costs 2 Pine Wood, and 1 Copper Ore. Deposit the required materials and confirm your decision to start the process.
After the project is completed, you can go up to Rookery Lodgings from a door near the Cerim Whisper. It’s located towards the right side of the staircase (the one going to the town square), and is an eye-catching cyan.
You can repair other parts of the town through Danos as well. These upgrades make your life as an adventurer easier by providing crafting tables for different vendors and letting you make weapons, food, and clothes. You can use the food crafted in fire pits to heal, increase stamina, and even restore focus.
