Player Runs Red Dead Redemption 2 on Smartphone
Player Serg Pavlov managed to launch Red Dead Redemption 2 on a REDMAGIC 9 Pro smartphone, and the fact itself is a huge feat. It even runs better than expected (well, mostly because I didn’t expect it to run on a phone at all), but you wouldn’t be able to play for long because “better than expected” is actually 5-15 FPS.
More(less?)over, this setup boasts countless texture bugs and stuttering sound, so Pavlov deemed it unplayable, even though you can technically start the game’s older (v1311.23) version, which he demonstrated in the video. Unfortunately, the latest update is impossible to test on a phone, at least using what Pavlov did – the Mobox tool to run Windows applications in Termux using Box64 and Wine.
