PlayStation Fan’s Impressive Trophy Milestone Celebrated With Neat Art Piece

A devoted PlayStation fan celebrates an impressive trophy milestone by revealing an awesome art piece created by a loved one.

A PlayStation fan celebrates their 100th platinum trophy with an awesome art piece featuring several iconic characters. Platinum trophies are some of the most coveted in-game achievements that PlayStation fans may earn since they display mastery of their favorite titles.

Trophies were first introduced in a PlayStation 3 firmware update in 2008, but only a few titles would support the feature for the remainder of the year. Just one year later, Sony Interactive Entertainment made trophies a requirement for new games entering certification. Trophies became integral to the experience that PlayStation Network provided for its titles on PS3 and subsequent PlayStation consoles. The trophy system would receive a major overhaul near the official launch date of PlayStation 5, expanding the max level and adjusting trophy levels for all players connected to PlayStation Network. PlayStation fans have been pursuing and obtaining platinum trophies for nearly 15 years, and one player has celebrated their 100th platinum trophy with the community.

PlayStation fan Valentari shared an incredible art piece to celebrate earning a total of 100 platinum trophies. Valentari’s wife created the piece by compiling official artwork of characters from all 100 games into a mural. Some of these characters include Cloud from Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Ichiban Kasuga from Yakuza: Like a Dragon, and Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn. The coveted platinum trophy may be seen in the middle of the mural, surrounded by characters in nearly every direction. Additionally, each corner of the mural represents the 1st, 50th, 51st, and 100th platinum trophy acquired by Valentari.

Thus far, Valentari’s most enjoyable playthroughs include Persona 5 Royal and The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel 4. Valentari’s total platinum trophy count is 125 now, and the PlayStation fan is currently playing through The Legend of Heroes: Trails to Azure in preparation for the release of The Legend of Heroes: Trails into Reverie this July. The platinum trophy count is expected to climb with even more PS4 and PS5 titles releasing in 2023.
