Pokemon GO Confirms May 2023 Community Day Pokemon

Pokemon GO announces the Pokemon featured on the upcoming Community Day, one of the most anticipated events for players of Niantic’s game.

Pokemon GO has announced May Community Day, which will feature Fennekin. Niantic has been adding much content in the current Pokemon GO season, giving players ways to catch various Pokemon and their variants. With the start of May, Pokemon GO is already gearing up to be quite busy.

An Instinctive Hero will be the first Pokemon GO event in May. The event will have several Pokemon available to obtain, with some being special. One of these Pokemon will be an Elekid wearing a special accessory, and the other will be Larvesta. The Bug/Fire-type Pokemon will debut in Pokemon GO during the event and will be able to be hatched by players from 2km, 5km, and 10km eggs. In addition to obtaining Larvesta, Pokemon GO players will have the chance to evolve the Pokemon into Volcarona.

Recently, Pokemon GO announced May Community Day featuring Fennekin, noting the Pokemon will appear more frequently in the wild on May 21 from 2 pm to 5 pm local time. Fennekin was added to Pokemon GO in 2020 in the Season of Celebration along with Chespin and Froakie, and other Pokemon from the Kalos region. Players who evolve Braixen, Fennekin’s evolution, during or up to five hours afterward will get a Delphox that knows Charged Attack Blast Burn. Players who evolve Braixen specifically at the start of the event will get a Delphox that also knows Charged Attack Mystical Fire.

Community Day will feature a $1 ticket that gives access to Fennekin’s special Research story and a themed Field Research with rewards like Stardust and Ultra Balls. The event will also have several bonuses for players, including double Stardust and Candy when capturing Pokemon, and Trades requiring only half the Stardust needed. Pokemon GO players can face Braixen, one of the Pokemon based on foxes, in four-star raids available on May 21 from 5 pm to 10 pm local time. May Community Day will also give themed stickers when spinning PokeStops and opening Gifts.

It’s often a good time when Pokemon GO announces a new Community Day. In this event, players focus their efforts on getting new Pokemon and on getting resources to make Pokemon already caught stronger. Despite this, the game is going through a rough patch. The Pokemon GO community was unhappy about the recent changes made by Niantic, which may have impacted player participation in Pokemon GO.

Pokemon GO is out now for iOS and Android mobile devices.
