This means that the promo codes for these items are actually individualized, so players with Amazon Prime will be the only ones able to obtain them. The current codes can be unlocked by going to Pokemon GO’s page on Prime Gaming. There, players will see that there is one code available for the beginning of May and one available for the second part of the month. Keep in mind that these codes can only be redeemed once, no matter where the player got the code from.

The process of claiming promo codes has changed since the start of Pokemon GO. Instead of being able to do it in the app, players need to go to Niantic’s code redemption page. There, players will be asked to log into their Pokemon GO account, and then be asked to ensure that the account shown is the one that they want to redeem the codes for. If it is, just type the code into the text box and then log into Pokemon GO. The items will automatically appear in the game if the code used is valid.
