If you’re just starting out in Pokémon Go, it’s best to begin with the 1 Star Raids, then slowly build up to the Mega Raids. It is also possible to encounter Mega Legendary Raids, which unleash godlike Pokémon. No matter what, you’ll always need a team, especially for these more formidable fights.
Some Raid Pokémon are exclusive to specific regions, including the Ultra Beasts Celesteela and Kartana. Thus, the battles for these particular creatures depend on your current location. However, Remote Raid Passes are available for those who want to access these unique types anywhere in the world.
The April 2024 Community Day: Bellsprout event recently unveiled an upcoming 4 Star Raid Battle with Weepinbell. You must use a Raid Pass and Premium Battle Pass to access this event, as the Remote Raid Pass does not work for this celebration. Those who complete the 4 Star Raid Battle will unleash more Bellsporuts around the Gym for 30 minutes. This also includes a Shiny Bellsprout if the odds are in your favor.
Besides the week-long events, Mega Heracross is the star of the show during an upcoming Raid Day. This will be Mega Heracross’ first debut for Mega Raids, showcasing an exclusive Shiny version. More Pokémon also appear while at the Gym for 15 minutes.
Since the month is just starting, the Pokémon Go Raid schedule for April 2024 will likely add more battles over time. We’ll update this guide once more information has been announced.
