Pokemon GO: Regieleki Elite Raid Guide | Counters and Weaknesses
Elite Raids are a slightly different beast than standard raids in Pokemon GO. The most notable difference is the 24-hour time limit – once these Pokemon are gone, they’re gone until the next raid. Trainers also cannot use Remote Raid Passes in Elite Raids. However, Elite Raids offer trainers the chance to catch rare, Legendary, and often super-powerful Pokemon that can’t be caught anywhere else.
Coming soon are Elite Raids for Regieleki – a Legendary Electric-type introduced in Gen 8’s expansion pack. Regieleki raids come after Regidrago raids and are expected to follow the same pattern. This guide has everything a trainer needs to beat Regieleki in Elite Raids and come out victorious with a new Legendary Pokemon in Pokemon GO.
When Are Regieleki Elite Raids Happening?
Regieleki will appear in Elite Raids for a limited time – from Sunday, April 9, 2023, 11 am local time to Sunday, April 9, 2023, 5:00 pm local time. This means players have a very small window to catch Regeleki. Additionally, Regieleki will hatch from Elite Raid eggs at the following times and stay there for half an hour:
- Sunday, April 9, 2023, at 11:00 am local time
- Sunday, April 9, 2023, at 2:00 pm local time
- Sunday, April 9, 2023, at 5:00 pm local time
Because Pokemon GO uses local time rather than a worldwide standard, trainers in different time zones will see Regieleki at different times.
Regieleki Weaknesses
A pure Electric-type, Regieleki is the most vulnerable to Ground-type Pokemon and moves. These moves do double damage to Electric-types and combined with STAB damage, Ground-type Pokemon with Ground-type moves are the best options for countering Elite Raid Regieleki.
Regieleki Resistances
As an Electric-type, Regieleki is resistant to Flying-, Steel-, and Electric-type moves. It is best to keep Pokemon and moves of this type out of the Raid Party, as they’ll take up a valuable slot and do half their usual damage. Regieleki is not immune to any specific types.
Best Regieleki Raid Counters
As expected, all the best Regieleki counters are Ground-types. With a team made up of these Pokemon, besting an Elite Raid Regieleki should be a lot easier.
