Poll: Are You Happy with Your PS Plus Essential Games for April 2024?

April’s PS Plus Essential games have been officially announced, and as per usual, we’re looking at three titles spread across PS5 and PS4. At a glance, however, we’re tempted to say that this is one of the weaker months in recent memory.

We start with Immortals of Aveum. A decent game by almost all accounts, but this magical shooter really struggled make an impact when it launched just last year. It was met with lukewarm reviews and poor sales — but then PS Plus might be the perfect place for such a product, allowing more players to try the game for themselves.

Immortals is flanked by Minecraft Legends — a real-time strategy take on the eternally popular brand — and indie action platformer Skul: The Hero Slayer. The latter is actually held in rather high regard amongst those who have played it.
