This means it makes a pretty big contribution to the overall rankings, it’s a chance for players to get their names on the leaderboard nice and early. We’ve already had events at EVO Japan, but this is the first for this region.

Prize Pool

The tournament will have a prize pool of $5,000 USD in total. It’s also contributing to a wider circuit though, so there’s a chance this will lead to even higher prizes further down the line. This is how the prize pool breaks up for players.

  • 1st -$2,500
  • 2nd – $1,000
  • 3rd – $650
  • 4th – $350
  • 5-6th – $150
