Redfall: Church Attic Key Location

As players explore Redfall‘s Burial Point map, they may come across Chickering Church, a location that is situated just to the east of the Maritime Center. Inside this location, fans will find one door that is locked, and it can only be opened with the help of the Church Attic Key. Fortunately, it is not very difficult to obtain the Church Attic Key in Redfall, and this guide is here to help players track down this important item.

Redfall: Church Attic Key Location

In order to claim the Church Attic Key, players must first initiate What’s In the Attic?, a main story mission in Redfall that is made available upon completion of the One of Us mission. After accepting What’s In the Attic? from the Maritime Center’s mission table, fans will be instructed to visit Paster Powell’s House, and that is where they will find the Church Attic Key. For full clarity, Paster Powell’s House is located within the Ashumet Springs neighborhood, and it has been marked on the map that is below.

Upon arriving at this residence, Redfall players should enter through the front door, climb the stairs that are ahead, and turn around at the top. Fans will now be facing a room with a blue mattress on the floor, and indeed the Church Attic Key is sitting atop that mattress. Here is a series of images that depicts the process of collecting the key, and fans should feel free to make their way to Chickering Church in order to unlock the attic once they have completed it.

With respect to what players will find in the Chickering Church attic, a vampiric Pastor Powell is hiding there. While this is certainly not the most difficult enemy in the game, Pastor Powell is more powerful than a standard vampire, and fans should try to dispatch him quickly with a Redfall Legendary weapon. When that job is finally done, players will receive a notification indicating that they have completed the What’s In the Attic? mission and received their XP reward.

To note, there is a Grave Lock within the Chickering Church’s sanctuary, and fans may want to collect it before using fast travel to return to the Maritime Center. While it is true that these collectibles are completely optional, the bonuses that they grant are fairly useful. Indeed, automatically regenerating ultimate power is quite a boon, as that allows the Redfall characters to have access to their most-powerful abilities more often.
