Rumor: Call of Duty Could Be Adding Two Popular Streamers to Warzone 2, MW2
With popular streamers becoming characters in the games they’re known for playing, two gamers may get the same treatment in MW2 and Warzone 2.
According to recent rumors circling around popular Call of Duty titles, two popular streamers will possibly be coming to both Warzone 2 and Modern Warfrare 2, making players with prominent names in the Call of Duty community official operators. With many popular streamers becoming playable characters in the games they’re famous for streaming, it appears that both Call of Duty: Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 could be jumping on the bandwagon.
It’s no secret that the Call of Duty games have grown to become one of the most successful franchises in gaming, with new installments reaching both fresh audiences and veteran fans. With nearly countless installments in the franchise, the Call of Duty titles are now some of the most notable first-person shooters around. Having both Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 as two of the most popular installments in the franchise right now, there are many popular faces in both of the games’ communities that warrant them getting treatment like Ninja and his feature in Fortnite. Although the content creators for Call of Duty may not be as well known as streamers like Ninja, some still deserve a potential spot in the games, if a new rumor is to be believed.
A recent tweet from Task Force Leaks Images has revealed some potential operators for the new seasons of Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2. Along with the recently announced Call of Duty addition of Kevin Durant, streamers TimTheTatMan and NICKMERCS might also find themselves among those who have been chosen to be operators in the games.

TimTheTatMan was on the forefront of streaming the first Warzone game while NICKMERCS began his streaming career with various Call of Duty titles, but now plays professionally in Apex Legends. Both have made their mark among Call of Duty players, so it would only make sense for them to be featured as operators in the game for other players to enjoy.
Although there is a source leaking this information, this is still a rumor and should be taken as a grain of salt until Activision makes an official announcement on the matter. It would be incredibly exciting to see gamers who have become prominent names in the Call of Duty fan base to become actual faces in the game, but only time will tell.
