How to Solve the Simple Puzzle in Stellar Blade

After reaching the bulletin board that is just next to the info vendor, Roxanne, in Xion, one of the first few requests that are available is titled “Simple Puzzle.” The details revealed are of a mathematical challenge that requires players to use more brains than brawn in order to claim the rewards up for grabs. This quest offers a nice break from everything else Stellar Blade has to offer, like fighting the Naytiba or finding secrets.

The details of the puzzle are as follows:

• 4@7@8 = 285684
• 9@3@5 = 271542
• 6@2@7 = 121426
• 5@6@7 = ?

With several numbers involved and a final answer that is quite high in value, players might feel that there is a complicated pattern that must be uncovered in order to solve the puzzle. Thankfully, this isn’t the case. By breaking down the base numbers, the pattern actually becomes quite clear.

What players are looking for is the relationship between the first, second, and third numbers. The first two digits of the eventual answer are obtained by multiplying the first and second digits. The third and fourth digits of the answer are then obtained by multiplying the second and third digits on the left. Lastly, the final two digits of the answer come from the sum of the first two sets of numbers obtained previously.

For example:

• 4×7 = 28
• 7×8 = 56
• 28+56 = 84

As such, the missing answer will be obtained from the equations:

• 5×6 = 30
• 6×7 = 42
• 42+30 = 72

Having uncovered the solution to the Simple Puzzle, head to the terminal next to the elevator leading down to the Presence Chamber, and enter the code 304272. This will be accepted, and players can then head back to the bulletin board to hand in the request for 1,000 Gold.
