Strategy Sequel SteamWorld Heist 2 Sets Sail on PS5, PS4 This August

SteamWorld Heist, the beloved turn-based tactical shooter, is getting a sequel. Launching on PS5, PS4, and basically everything else on 8th August 2024, SteamWorld Heist 2 is a direct follow-up to the original, swapping out spaceships for a sea-faring adventure but retaining the ricochet-based strategy fans know and love.

You play as Captain Leeway, and must sail the seas, gather a ragtag crew of bots, and solve the mystery of a harmful water crisis. As well as the turn-based, ricochet-heavy tactical gameplay, new for the sequel is a job system that lets you outfit your crew with unique abilities. Between missions, you’ll sail your submarine around a world map, engaging in real-time battles against enemy vessels.
