SunnySide Is a PS5 Life Sim Worth Keeping an Eye On, Out in July

SunnySide is another farming-based life sim, but its rural Japan setting and fairly realistic appearance makes it stand out in what has become a crowded genre. The game looks promising in its release date trailer, which boasts of an intriguing core story, over 25 characters to forge friendships with, and plenty of optional activities.

The press release also reveals that SunnySide has… “a cozy turn-based battle system”. Apparently, your custom character meets an ancient “survey drone” who needs your help in exploring a cave network below town. Interesting.
