Vampire Survivors Contra Crossover DLC Will Come to PlayStation Later in the Summer

In case you missed it, the popular indie title Vampire Survivors is finally making its way to PlayStation later this year. Upon launch in the summer, the game, along with all its DLC packs, will be available for purchase on PS Store, but there’s one upcoming expansion that’ll be coming a little later down the line. Operation Guns is its name, and it sees the world of Vampire Survivors crossing paths with… Contra.

Yes, as you can see in the above trailer, heroes from Konami’s shooter series are joining the rest of the survivors in the fight against evil. “The President’s cousin’s sister’s dog has been kidnapped by Red Falcon,” reads the description — that’s all the motivation we need.

The DLC is set to include 11 characters, 22 weapons (including evolutions), new maps, and a tough difficulty curve for veterans of both Contra and Vampire Survivors.

Operation Guns is coming to PS5 and PS4 a little later than other platforms, but is planned to launch in the summer, meaning it shouldn’t be much delayed following the base game’s arrival. Are you excited for this DLC? Let us know in the comments section below.
