LOUD carries the games and the viewership numbers

LOUD carries the entire competition by consistently pulling loyal viewership numbers. They of course remain a key favorite given they are the reigning Valorant Champions from 2022, and had nearly clutched another victory in the recent 2023 VCT Lock-in at Sao Paolo.

Two weeks in, LOUD shares the top spot with FURIA with two wins each, while also sharing the top spot in viewership numbers with Sentinels at ~260K average viewers.

Cloud 9 has severely dropped in viewership interest despite them being regarded as one of the biggest gaming organizations in the world. This is primarily as a result of their recent roster movements which saw the organization part ways with Yay, one of the most popular Valorant pro players.

Reduced interest for Cloud 9 was clear, with their match against EG pulling in the least views amongst all other Week 1 matches. Luckily, LOUD carried some of those numbers in Week 2 to salvage their average.

Despite the team’s support being at an all-time low, Cloud9 still sits at 1-1 in the standings, and their duel versus 100T next week may be the one to top the charts.

NRG vs. Sentinels didn’t deliver

This match was expected to bring all the boys to the yard. Yet, we still have an the viewership numbers from Week 1 unbeaten.

Built around star player s0m, NRG made some big moves during the end of 2022, replacing almost the entirety of their team. While certainly a risk, the individual talent and past success of the various new signing led to great optimism towards the team’s outlook.

Unfortunately, their first match in week two pitted them against Leviathan, leading to their 0-2 loss. Luckily, their second match was a breeze, as they beat Sentinels down to a pulp on Icebox.
