The Guardian Gigantus quest is the point of no return in Dragon’s Dogma 2. Once this mission is unlocked, an NPC suggests getting some rest before starting the objective, vaguely hinting at its conclusion. It should be noted that Guardian Gigantus is the second to last main mission of Dragon’s Dogma 2, so completing it will immediately lock you out of almost every quest in the game.

Many side adventures weren’t accessible before A New Godsway (the mission before Guardian Gigantus). However, once the Flamebearer Palace Spellseal Door opens, most of the map will now be available.
