When is the next Disney Dreamlight Valley update?

The Rift in Time saga is far from over as the imaginative Act 2 approaches. The following phase prompts the arrival of a new but familiar face and continues the Jafar storyline. Here’s when to expect the next Disney Dreamlight Valley update and what will be included. 

When does Disney Dreamlight Valley A Rift in Time Act 2 release?

The next Disney Dreamlight Valley update has yet to receive an official release date. However, a new teaser indicates it will be “coming soon.” An upcoming first look is expected on April 24, 2024, hopefully providing a launch date. 

Since the Spark of Imagination Act 2 was slated for a Spring 2024 release on the roadmap, the next DDV update could arrive in late April or May. Based on the teaser, players will venture deeper into Eternity Isle, continuing the saga from Act 1. Things were relatively left off with a cliffhanger, as Jafar causes more mischief through the mysterious time powers. 

Gaston, Rapunzel, and EVE are the first among the group to help with Eternity Isle’s many problems (well, Gaston helps in his own way). In Disney Dreamlight Valley’s next update, a new character will join the team with the arrival of Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. Oswald will likely play a vital role through new missions and character-related quests.

You must purchase the expansion pass to access a Rift in Time’s Act 1 and upcoming Act 2 (Act 3 for Summer release). The pack can be bought separately or as a bundle with the Gold Edition. However, if you only seek out the base game features, the following update offers free content, including new items and general improvements.
