Autodesk's Flame 2025 Streamlines Grain Management With A New Node

Autodesk has launched Flame 2025, an annual release of its VFX and finishing software for node-based compositing, advanced graphics, and color correction.

The most prominent feature of this version is Match Grain, a brand new node to apply the grain or noise from a clip to your composition. It’s very simple to use and takes the grain management in Flame to the next level, combining a number of processes. Now you can easily extract grain from the original clip with the ability to adjust RGB curves, dispersion, Scale, Blur, and Gain transforms, and apply the same gain to other clips.
