Hi-Fi Rush: All Collectibles in Track 5

Track 5 of Hi Fi Rush starts with Chai in jail, but it doesn’t take him long to bust out and start exploring the Security wing. Fortunately, not every robot in Security recognizes him, so the stage is a mix of fighting security bots and helping out.

For the most part, Hi Fi Rush Track 5 is built around a hub rather than being a straight line like other tracks. This means there’s a fair amount of backtracking, but it also means there are more opportunities to go back and pick up the collectibles players may have missed the first time around. Of course, it also helps to have a handy guide like this one.

The Great Escape

To find the first Vlog, turn around immediately and reenter the detainment room Chai just escaped from. The vlog is on the computer. Players can also find this track’s snail in the cell itself.

While on the second set of rotating platforms, jump counterclockwise (against its movement) to reach a non-moving platform higher up. This platform holds several boxes and a Health Gauge piece.

hi fi rush track 5 vlog 2

After entering the main hub area and talking to the security robot, check the second bank of computers on the right to find a new Vlog.

hi fi rush track 5 graffiti

Go past the vlog to the corner of the platform to spot another platform just below. Jump down and walk to the far end to find some Graffiti Art. This is the only graffiti in this track, which may confuse players who check the graffiti board at the hideout and see that it’s in a box with two spaces. The second graffiti for this box is in Track 6.

hi fi rush track 5 armstrong 1

From the graffiti platform, jump onto one of the moving platforms and ride it down to another spot even further down. An Armstrong Circuit is sitting here in plain sight. Players can jump between platforms to get there faster, but only when they’re spaced close together.

hi fi rush track 5 vlog 3

In the central room of the main hub, use some computers to jump up to a catwalk overhead. A Vlog is sitting on the ground up here.

hi fi rush track 5 armstrong 2

On another catwalk in this area is an Armstrong Circuit.

Node 2

hi fi rush track 5 reverb 1

After taking the elevator down to Node 2, the first room has some graffiti on the left pointing up to a higher area with a Reverb piece on it.

hi fi rush track 5 vlog 4

In the same room but on the other side is a combo button. Hit it to enter a side room with a Vlog. Around the corner from this vlog is a Kale statue, but that’s not a collectible.

hi fi rush track 5 comic

In the main chamber of Node 2, head up the platforms to find a Comic Book and unlock a new move.

hi fi rush track 5 armstrong 3

When heading back out from Node 2, ignore the jump pad and walk around the outside of the glass wall. Use a couple crates to jump up to a glass platform above the elevator and collect an Armstrong Circuit.

Node 1

hi fi rush track 5 armstrong 4

After crossing the ramp of moving platforms on the way to Node 1, turn around immediately and use the magnet hook to reach a distant platform. This location has an Armstrong Circuit and another Kale statue.

hi fi rush track 5 reverb 2

After the timed platform ramp is a fight, and past the fight is a breakable wall. Find this Reverb piece on top of a computer in the back.

hi fi rush track 5 vlog 5

In the main room of Node 1, check a computer next to the fallen orb for a Vlog.

hi fi rush track 5 armstrong 5

After fixing the main orb in Node 1, go around to the far side of the orb and jump down to find an Armstrong Circuit.

hi fi rush track 5 armstrong 6

During the 2D section to escape Node 1, go past the first set of dodge lasers and jump up and to the left instead of dropping down. Up here is a hidden room with an Armstrong Circuit and the noir detective from HR.

Node 3

hi fi rush track 5 vlog 6

This Vlog is hard to miss. Players will spot it on a computer early on the path to Node 3.

hi fi rush track 5 armstrong 7

While in the main room of Node 3, check behind the big orb to get another Armstrong Circuit.

hi fi rush track 5 vlog 7

When coming back to the hub area from Node 3, a new route will open up to the left. Jump up the platforms to reach a third Kale statue, and then jump on some computers to reach an even higher platform where a Vlog is sitting on the ground.

Drone Hunting

hi fi rush track 5 drone mission

To get one of the collectibles in Track 5, players will need to speak to the helpful security robot a second time. When they do, he’ll ask Chai to find and destroy ten drones located throughout the stage. These drones only appear after talking to the TEC-78, so make sure to do this immediately.

hi fi rush track 5 drone 1

The first Drone is nearby, on the catwalk above the central room. Note that while the drone propellers are Peppermint blue, Chai must destroy all these drones himself.

hi fi rush track 5 drone 2

The second Drone is on the lower platform beneath the starting area, so drop onto the graffiti platform and take the moving platforms around to reach it.

hi fi rush track 5 drone 3

The third Drone is on the way to Node 2. Jump up to the right after leaving the elevator, hit the combo button, and find this drone hiding in a corner.

hi fi rush track 5 drone 4

When leaving Node 2, go left of the jump pad and climb onto the glass platform above the elevator. The fourth Drone is on the far side from the Armstrong circuit.

hi fi rush track 5 drone 5

After climbing up the timed platform ramp on the way to Node 1, turn around and use a magnet hook to reach a new platform. This is where the fifth Drone is trying not to be noticed.

hi fi rush track 5 drone 6

Break down the door on the way to Node 1 and climb onto the computers to spot the sixth Drone. This is the same room as the reverb piece.

hi fi rush track 5 drone 7

To the right of the breakable door is a pair of timed platforms that lead to a new area. Players can’t do much here during a first playthrough, but they can find the seventh Drone.

hi fi rush track 5 armstrong 6

During the 2D section to escape Node 1, pass the first set of dodge lasers and then jump up and to the left to find a hidden area. The eighth Drone is in here along with the detective and Armstrong circuit.

hi fi rush track 5 drone 9

The ninth Drone is cleverly hidden behind the main orb in Node 3.

hi fi rush track 5 drone 10

The tenth and final Drone is in the area players can only reach after returning to the main hub after fixing Node 3. It’s floating next to the computers players can use to climb to another platform.

Once players have destroyed all ten drones, the TEC-78 will reward Chai with a Health Tank piece. This will also help players get the rare “I am a good person who likes to help” achievement.

Post Game

There are several areas of this stage players can only reach after finishing the game.

hi fi rush door 5

The lower platform with the Armstrong circuit and the second drone is also where the fifth Challenge Door is found.

hi fi rush track 5 vlog 7

Before approaching the timed platform ramp that leads to Node 1, turn left to spot a fire door. Bypass this door and climb up to an orb slide to find the final Vlog of the stage.

hi fi rush track 5 health 2

Climb up the orb slide and walk around the side to find this Health Gauge piece.

hi fi rush track 5 armstrong 8

Continue on the path to Node 1, and turn right from the breakable door to jump up the timed platforms. This is the same area as the seventh drone, and in the post-game players can activate a generator sequence that will get them up to an area with an Armstrong Circuit. WIth this, the collectible list for Track 5 is complete.

Hi-Fi Rush is available now on PC and Xbox Series X/S.
