Chapter 2236 Weird Move
Sam is surprised.
He originally thought that since the whole region is in chaos, the Poseidon academy will completely ignore the quest situation. After all, that is a trivial thing. And he is also sure that the news from the Telchine territory shouldnt reach the Poseidon academy at the moment.
After all, for that Krejin has to pull himself together, inform their family, subdue the shadow cavalry that is rampaging in their territory and then finally, they would contact Christos.
Then only the Poseidon academy will know the details of the incident. Right now, the academy is too closed to care much about this. However, Sam immediately connected this with a different issue. Right now, every academy wants access to him which is being denied by the Gambler academy. In Nian's words, they need to find a legitimate way.

Sam stood up and walked out of the room. The elders didnt stop him. It is not like the people in the room are stupid, they know exactly what is happening.
"They are at the entrance. Nian is holding them back."
The elder said as if it inform Sam.
"I think it is better to keep an eye on Sam. who knows what the Poseidon academy many pull." One of the elders spoke.
Ling Tian was about to say something, but immediately stopped after Dove stood up and volunteered. She followed Sam all the way to the gate.
Sam stood behind Elder Nian and took out the spatial ring.
"The quest item multiplied by a hundred. All of them are there. You can check it out."
He just casually threw the ring. The Elder frowned and didnt even bother catching the ring. It just hit him on the shoulder and fell down.
Sam was about to turn around and leave. But the elder called.
"Is this the respect the gambler academy students show to the elders that come on official business?
It is one thing for you to not invite me in by yourself, but you even block the entrance and throw the items to my face? Seems like all the talent made your head swell big."
The elder's aura raged.
Nian gritted his teeth and swung the halberd in the air. Another showboating action. Nothing more.
But his stance is clear. Since the elder from Poseidon academy decided on some show of power, he did the same. The elder glared at Elder Nian.
"Elder, you can state what you want with your words. If you use strength, then I will have to as well. Today I am the guard here and I will do everything in my power to do it.
So, please stay your hand when you speak."
Sam and Dove looked at Nian a bit weirdly. It is one thing that a nerd of inscriptions was placed as a guard at the gate, but to think this guy even went as far as issuing threats to elders.
Sam had a weird thought, but he shook it off his head, because he had to deal with the Poseidon academy's elder.
The elder calmed his aura down and looked at Sam. "You need to hand over the time to my hands and sign the contract indicating that the quest is completed. You will also have a copy. Only then would the quest be considered completed.
So, either you come outside or I come inside."

"I guess it wouldn't be a problem."
Dove replied and even Elder Nian nodded. Sam looked at Elder Nian's expression for a moment. It is very weird. There is something up with him. The elder of the poseidon academy came forward and spread the scroll.
"You need to sign it with your blood and spiritual signature."
Sam nodded and gave him the item before signing it with his blood. As soon as his bleeding finger touched the scrolls, a glint flashed past his eyes. He looked at the elder with a smile that didn't look like a smile.
He then placed his spiritual signature without bothering much.
"I guess it is done."
Sam said and he gave the old man a once over. His gaze particularly landed on his wrist and he was a bit disappointed when he didnt see the wrist band. If it was there, things would have been a lot easier and a lot less severe as well.
But now, he has to do something big.
The old man looked at Sam with a puzzled gaze. He is expecting some reaction from Sam, which he is not getting.
However, he didn't have any reason to stay there anymore and left without making a sound.
Elder Nian had a frustrated look as he saw the receding back of the old elder. But after half a minute, he calmed himself down and went back to his guarding position. He stood there and kept on tapping the tail end of the halberd on the ground, the blows so focused and concentrated that only the area that was touched by the tail end directly was impacted.
The surrounding area, even the immediate surroundings were completely unaffected, not even a single crack.
Sam gave him a sweeping glance before he walked back along with Dove. On his way, he asked her.
"Is it really necessary for me to be in this meeting? There are not really many answers that you can get. All I can say is that I need had a close dealing with Ivar. But that was just business.
He had something that I wanted and I bought it from him.
Apart from that, there is not much. I don't really like being grilled that much, you know.
After all, don't tell me that with all the power behind the academies, you cannot really catch the trace of relationship that I had with the managers, if I really had one."
"Well, it is not just that.

Sam stayed silent for a moment and asked a question of his in return.

Ling Tian gestured him to do so.
"When I went to the Telchine territory to my final trial, the young master of the Telchine clan, Krejin said that they had a deal with christos and Shadow cavalry was there to trap me.
And when I was about to escape from the trap they set me I saw the shadow cavalry turn around and attack Krejin. His guards barely saved him and in process they were all killed.
Last thing I saw was the shadow cavalry going on a rampage in their city.
So, are you guys going to pin this on me too? To make me the scapegoat for all of this? I won't deny that I have personal vendetta against the Olympian academies.
In fact, the dean and Ling Tian can confirm it. They knew most of it and the reasons behind it.
But you all saw the way that I fought against them. I humiliated them, played the rules and made them feel insignificant. For all I know, there is a plot brewing in the Olympian circle and because of the way that I acted up, they just wanted to use me as the scape goat.
If I didn't know any better, I even believe that the Olympians are involved with the Hub directly. It is just as plausible as me being a first grader, getting involved in some grand scheme that could collapse the academy realm as we know it."
His words all of a sudden made a lot of sense.
Particularly, the incident about Shadow cavalry acting up in the Telchine territory.
The elders lifted their focus off of Sam for a while as they made calls to investigate this.
Meanwhile, the Elder from Poseidon academy that got a scroll signed by Sam, was walking back to the academy slowly as he examined the scroll and signature with a deep frown.
