Story-Heavy Stellar Blade PS5 Launch Trailer Prepares You for Release

Sony and Shift Up have put out a new Stellar Blade trailer to mark the PS5 exclusive’s launch, with the release date set for tomorrow, 26th April 2024. Like a lot of launch trailers, the two-minute slice of footage features a lot of cutscenes and stretches of gameplay we haven’t seen before, so you might want to skip it given the full launch is so close. Still, you can catch it above.

Our Stellar Blade PS5 review went live yesterday with an 8/10 rating, concluding: “With an ever-evolving counter-attacking combat system, some superb art direction, and a sensational soundtrack, this is the kind of back-to-basics PS5 outing that fans have been pleading for. A dire English dub and some trite story beats mean the studio still has plenty of room to refine its craft, but Eve’s inaugural outing is largely excellent across the board, and destined to become a firm favourite among PS5 enthusiasts.”
